Two prominent fire service groups join the Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition

By Fred Durso, Jr. Approaching its 20th anniversary, the Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition (HFSC) is still attracting key safety groups to promote its mission of educating the public about the value of sprinkler protection in one- and two-family homes. The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) and the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) have joined the coalition comprised of NFPA, the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors, FM Global, and others who have made sprinklers a priority. Joining HFSC’s all-volunteer board of directors is Chief Ron Siarnicki, NFFF’s executive director, and Chief Kevin Quinn, NVFC chair.
