Sprinkler coalition to host educational event on home fire sprinklers

By Fred Durso, Jr. The Michigan Fire Sprinkler Coalition is hosting a one-day program dedicated to fire sprinklers on December 4, 2015, in Howell, Michigan, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This course is intended to provide municipal code officials, code inspectors, and plan reviewers with resources to meet code requirements as it relates to home fire sprinklers. The program will discuss inspection and plan review based on the Michigan Residential Code and requirements of NFPA 13D, Installation of Sprinkler Systems in One- and Two-Family Dwellings and Manufactured Homes.
