One way or the other, Fire Prevention Week theme makes an impression on residents

Coming or going, motorists in Westminster, Colorado, are getting the message to test their smoke alarms every month. The 2014 Fire Prevention Week banner is on display at the corners of the clocktower building, which is city hall. So folks heading west see the banner, as do folks heading east.

The banners were put in place on September 30th. Although Fire Prevention Week concluded October 11th, local officials want to make sure everyone gets the safety message. The banners will remain in place until November 1.
