New languages added to community toolkits

By Lisa Braxton
NFPA’s community toolkits, designed to help public safety educators conduct successful community education campaigns, now include additional easy-to-read handouts. The toolkit on smoke alarms now includes handouts in Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese (pictured above) and the toolkit on carbon monoxide alarms includes Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese easy-to-read handouts as well.
Toolkits include community outreach ideas, talking points, links to NFPA reports, videos, and public service announcements.
