May/June issue of NFPA Journal previews upcoming code changes, the making of a new NFPA standard, and combustible decorative features on buildings
The latest issue of NFPA Journal®, the official magazine for the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), offers a preview of the 2017 editions of the National Electrical Fire Code® (NEC®)and NFPA 25, Standard for The Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems and the key changes coming to both. The issue also examines the making of NFPA 1616, Standard for Mass Evacuation and Sheltering—the new standard for mass evacuations and sheltering—and looks at combustible decorative features of buildings on the Las Vegas strip.
