In their push for increased safety at home, advocates highlight home saved by sprinklers

By Fred Durso, Jr. Bolstering awareness on the power of home fire sprinklers is a priority for the South Carolina Fire Sprinkler Coalition. Focusing on the damaging effects of today’s home fires has been as important for the group as highlighting actual instances of sprinklers saving lives. Exemplifying the latter, the South Carolina State Firefighters’ Association, a coalition member, took to its blog to describe a recent sprinkler save in West Columbia.
