Home fire sprinklers garner attention in a state experiencing abnormal amount of fire deaths

Going three years without experiencing a fatal fire, La Crosse has had two already this year. Other home fires this year in the town have also displaced a number of people. While working with the Red Cross to install 2,500 smoke alarms throughout Wisconsin, fire officials are also focusing on these recent fires to make a passionate plea for home fire sprinklers.
