The White House issues Fire Prevention Week Proclamation

The President of the United States has proclaimed October 5 through October 11, 2014, as Fire Prevention Week. On Sunday, Octobre 12, the United States flag will be flown at half staff at all federal office buildings in honor of the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service. President Barack Obama is calling on all Americans to participate in FPW with appropriate programs and activities.
