Remembering When materials are available in Spanish and Mandarin

The Remembering When program just got better! Support materials for the fire and fall prevention program for older adults are now available in Spanish and Mandarin. You can download prevention message cards, safety tip sheets, home safety checklists, and prevention flyers for free.

Remembering When is centered around 16 key safety messages – eight fire prevention and eight fall preventiondeveloped by experts from national and local safety organizations as well as through focus group testing in high-fire-risk states.

The program was designed to be implemented by a coalition comprising the local fire department, service clubs, social and religious organizations, retirement communities, and others.

Michael S. Williams

Williams a fondé l'Institut de formation des services d'incendie en 1995 pour trouver des solutions aux défis auxquels est confronté le service de pompiers volontaires. Williams has been a member of the California State Board of Fire Services since 2008. Prior to becoming involved in the volunteer fire service, Williams was a California police officer for 12 ½ years and a POST certified Field Training Officer. He is a licensed private investigator and security consultant specializing in self-insured, government and insurance defense assignments.
