NFPA offers tools for a stress-free Fire Prevention Week

title

By Lisa Braxton

Everything the fire service needs to run a successful Fire Prevention Week campaign is provided at fpw.org. The page includes step-by-step instructions the fire service can use for implementing a campaign; media materials, including sample news releases, letters to the editor, and op-eds; and safety tips.
This year’s campaign, “Working Smoke Alarms Save Lives: Test Yours Every Month,” provides an ideal opportunity to educate the public about having working smoke alarms and testing them every month.
