Fire Protection Research Foundation announces new report on data center smoke detection

To address critical gaps in knowledge about data center fire prevention, the Fire Protection Research Foundation (Foundation), an affiliate of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), today announced the release of a new report, “Validation of Modeling Tools for Detection Design in High Air Flow Environments,” as the result of a project in partnership with Hughes Associates and FM Global.

Michael S. Williams

Williams has been a member of the California State Board of Fire Services since 2008. Prior to becoming involved in the volunteer fire service, Williams was a California police officer for 12 ½ years and a POST certified Field Training Officer. He is a licensed private investigator and security consultant specializing in self-insured, government and insurance defense assignments.
