Imagine talking to 10,000 people about fire safety in one weekend. Raleigh Fire Department Fire Prevention Coordinator/Deputy Fire Marshal Ronald Campbell says his department reaches at least that many shoppers during

“I find that with FPW in a Box, I don’t have to figure out what products to buy,” says Campbell. “I like the package of brochures that comes with it. They’re topical, relevant. The newsletter makes it easy to come up with an introduction when you’re out there in the community explaining to people why you’re there, why you’re giving the talk in the first place.”

Campbell says his department has lots of exhibit tables set up for three days at a heavily-trafficked area of the mall.

“It’s easy because we can put FPW materials in a bag for people,” he says. “We have it set up so the kids can watch the DVD while we engage the parents and other adults in a conversation about fire safety.”
