Por Fred Durso, Jr. Home fire sprinkler advocates are a diverse bunch. Case in point: a coroner familiar with the horrific effects of fire has vowed to take action to prevent future tragedies. A recent inquest in England shed light on an 80-year-old man burned by a fire in his home on his birthday. Immobilized in his chair, the man was unable to seek safety from the flames. Neighbors rushed to his aid, but he eventually died from his injuries, reports the Nottingham Post.
